The NSW Strata Hub was set up in 2022, with the goal of improving engagement of residents of strata schemes in NSW, and to providing better transparency, accountability and regulation.

All strata schemes in NSW need to report in Strata Hub each year within 3 months of their annual general meeting.

You also need to update your information within 28 days if there is a change to the contact information or a strata renewal committee is formed.

For step-by-step guidance on how to report your scheme, visit our Strata annual reporting page.

Strata scheme reporting 3 ways

Therefore, you can choose how to provide reporting:

  1. Individual reporting for each scheme – ideal for reporting less than 20 schemes.
  2. A software integration option to ‘bulk upload’ for multiple schemes – ask your software provider to connect your software to the Strata Hub.
  3. Bulk upload your Excel spreadsheet.

To ensure best practices and payment processes, log into the Strata Hub.

Annual reporting requirements

NSW strata schemes must complete annual reporting of key building, management and safety information to the NSW Government.

Each Year – Annual reporting needs to be completed every year within 3 months of the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Penalties may apply if strata schemes have not completed their annual reporting.

2026 Strata Hub updates

As of May 2026, the following changes are in effect:

  • From 1 October 2026, 2-lot schemes (most duplexes) won’t need to report annually
  • Multiple agency profiles uploadable under one registration
  • Capital Works Fund planner collaboration making it easier to share and review draft plans
